Position: OMC MOUD LPN Open: 11-25-24
Location: Bemidji, MN. Close: 12-06-24
Pay: $23.64/hr. Benefits: Full Status: Full time
This position is responsible for providing intake evaluation, medical assessments and dispenses medication assisted therapies (MAT) to patients for the management of opiate dependence.
Position’s outcomes:

Provides and coordinates direct patient care.

Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.

Communicates with internal and external sources to maintain good rapport and share pertinent information.

Teaches, and delegates tasks to health care personnel.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -
Knowledge of and ability to follow and apply policies and procedures of the White Earth Tribal Council, OMC Center, Nurse Practice Act, White Earth Youth Residential Standards of Care, White Earth Substance Abuse Treatment Services and State and Federal laws relating to scope of practice.

Knowledge and ability to follow Universal Precautions.

Knowledge of and ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Knowledge of nursing process, human systems, human behavior, and alternative practices.

Ability and knowledge to utilize strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work cooperatively within a group to make the group successful, effective, and efficient.
Qualifications: -
High School diploma or GED and current MN LPN License.

Prefer (2) two years of nursing experience.

Required to obtain Public Health Nursing (PHN) certification within (18) eighteen months of hire.

Must be over the age of 18, responsible, mature, healthy adult who is able to carry out the license holder’s duties.

Must be free of chemical use problems for at least two (2) years immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact and freedom from chemical use problems must be maintained during employment.

Must be able to pass a Background and Drug screening.

Valid driver’s license and insurance for travel between sites and other business-related destinations.
