1.      Who is eligible to receive benefits from White Earth Financial Services?

According to the Legislation, all White Earth members and their families who reside in Mahnomen, Becker and Clearwater Counties.


2.      What is the definition of a member?

A member is defined as an enrolled member of the White Earth Tribe and any person that is a lineal descendant to a White Earth enrollee.


3.      Why am I getting the White Earth Membership Verification Form?

In order to determine if you or a member of your household is eligible to receive benefits from the White Earth Nation.


4.      Do I have a choice in where I receive my benefits?

No; enrolled members and persons who are considered lineal descendants do not have a choice and their benefits will be administered by White Earth Financial Services.


5.      How can I apply for cash and SNAP benefits?

7.      Will my benefits be the same?

Yes, White Earth Financial Services will administer your benefits through the same State of Minnesota policies and programs that are currently used by the Counties.


8.     Where are the offices located?

We currently have four offices within Becker, Clearwater, and Mahnomen counties. Our offices are located in Mahnomen (2235 College Road, Suite 201), Naytahwaush (2531 310th Ave), Detroit Lakes (210 West State Street) and Bagley (107 Central Street). Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
