When to get shots for children

Children need specific shots at different ages. Please see the link below for more information on the different types of shots and the ages to give them.

Minnesota law requires written proof of certain shots for children in licensed child care. However, if a child has a medical reason or if his/her parents are conscientiously opposed to any or all of the shots, a legal exemption is available. To file an exemption you must fill out a form, which you can get at child care centers and schools.
