Picture Identification Card

General Information:

Applying for a White Earth Identification Card you must present certified documents which are subject to verification and will not be accepted if altered. The Identification card alone is not your license for harvesting of Natural Resources, the Identification Card must be accompanied by an Un-expired Natural Resource Harvest Permit.

Appying for a White Earth Identifcation Card you must present two of the following documents;

• Minnesota State Drivers License (not accepted if expired by more than 5 years) with full name, and date of birth.

• Out of State Drivers License or Identification Card with full name and date of birth.

• Minnesota Identification Card with full name and date of birth.

• Certified birth record issued by vital statistics or board of health in the U.S. or Canada.

• Valid Un-expired U.S. Pass Port

• Secure, un-expired Minnesota Tribal Identification card with full name and date of birth.

• Un-expired U.S. Military Identification card with full name and date of birth.

• Certified secondary or post-secondary school transcript.

• U.S. Social Security Card or Canadian Social Insurance Card.

• Un-expired color photo permit to carry a firearm or concealed weapon, issued by U.S. Police Department.

• Certified U.S. or Canadian Court Order with full name and date of birth.

• Government employee photo identification card from a jurisdiction in the U.S. or Canada.

• Current Identification card issued by the U.S. Department of Defense.

• Certified adoption certificate from a U.S. Court.

• Certified Government issued-Marriage Certificate.

 

**When applying for a Descendant identification card you must bring in a certified birth certificate and one of the above listed documents.

 

Adult Identification Cards

These Identification cards are issued to White Earth Enrolled members that are 16 years old through 54 years old. The identification cards expire every six years or on their 55th birthday, which ever would apply. The Adult Identification Cards have a Yellow color band to indicate adult, and have an expiration date highlighted in red.

 

Senior Citizen Identification Cards

These Identification cards are issued to White Earth Enrolled members that are 55 years old and older. The cards expire every six years on the card holder birthday. The Senior Citizen Identification cards have a Blue color band to indicate Senior Citizen. The cards have an expiration date highlighted in red, Juvenile/Minor Identification Cards. These identification cards are issued to White Earth Enrolled members between the ages of 12 years old through 15 years old. The Identification Cards expire on their 16th birthday. The identification cards have a Black color band to indicate Juvenile/Minor and the expiration date is highlighted in red.

 

Descendant Identification Cards

The Descendant Identification cards are issued to "Enrolled members," children if they are not enrolled. These identification cards have a Purple color band to indicate Descendant. The cards are issued from the age of 12 years old and older. The identification cards expire every six years on the card holder birthday and have an expiration date highlighted in red.
