Water Quality

The White Earth Reservation has vast and beautiful water resources which are valuable to all who live on and off of the Reservation. Our lakes, rivers, streams, wetlands and ground water are some of these resources. These resources provide fishing, baitfish, leeching, wild rice, wildlife habitat, ground water recharge, drinking water and various other outdoor recreation activities for thousands of people each year. It is the goal of the Tribal Water quality program to protect these resources for current and future generations.
