The White Earth Reservation Business Committee is currently seeking a qualified applicant who will be responsible for supervision of Child Protection Case managers, to ensure quality services are provided within a culturally specific treatment model; services are maximized for the public; billing is maximized for those services; and competency is maximized to consistently meet audit requirements.
Position Outcomes:
- Provides clinical supervision of child protection case managers.
- Provides supervision of credentialed program sites.
- Reviews electronic and hard copy records to meet requirements of the state.
- Maximizes billing for the program.
- Ensure cultural services for families experiencing issues.
- Ensures child protection workers are appropriately supervised.
- Provides direct services to clientele.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of and ability to follow and apply the policies and procedures of the White Earth Tribal Council and the Indian Child Welfare department.
- Skilled in confidentiality and ability to maintain confidential records relating to Indian Child Welfare staff.
- Ability to prepare and maintain all required treatment plans and summary reports.
- Ability to counsel child protection workers on how they can work with their clients to assist in
overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes while complying with their case plan. - Skilled in facilitating meetings.
- Skilled in multi-disciplinary treatment planning.
- Knowledgeable in child protection systems and treatment programs.
- Knowledgeable in child protection and cultural services.
- Ability to manage projects with little supervision.
- Ability to operate independently within policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of tribal laws, tribal codes, and ability to work within those laws.
- Knowledge of court procedures.
- Knowledge of the White Earth Reservation demographics, culture, history, and lifestyles.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or Master’s certificate in Social Work or Psychology; OR are certified to provide
clinical supervision. - Must be in good standing in the Native community.
- Must be free of chemical or alcohol abuse problems for at least two years.
- Must have knowledge of traditional systems of healing.
- Valid Driver’s License and insurance for travel between sites and other business-related activities.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
